Recently, MTN introduced another power packed bundles called MTN 3G FASTLINK. But I call it MTN 3G easy browsing, because it is a special service for MTN customers. This makes net surfing to be more efficient and convenient.

HOW TO GET 3G

*You have tovisit MTN stores or shops near your location.

*Purchase the MTN 3G modem.

*Follow the instructions and be prepared to getting started.

*For people that cannot purchase the modem, you can make use of your GPRS mobile phone, as a modem, using your MTN sim card to activate the bundles.

HOW MTN 3G MODEM WORKS

*Insert the modem into your PC via the USB point.

*Wait till you see an installation guide. Install, to gain access to the 3G network.

*Click on Bundles plan on the MTN fastlink icon that is displayed after installation.

* Choose a bundle [To choose a bundle, read how to activate….. below this page].

*You will receive a confirmation text message.

*Click on connect and surf all around the world with just an easy click.

HOW MTN 3G WORKS ON PHONE TO PC

*Read on how to activate a bundle below this page.

*Be sure that you have the following items with a gprs enabled phone.

.the phone software. .USB cable. .MTN sim card.

*Install the phone software on your pc and then create a new connection through the software installed.

*Connect the gprs enabled phone to pc.

*choose pc suites mode on your phone.

*Recharge your phone and this depends on the cost of the bundle you wish to activate.

*Follow the 3G activation process for phone to pc bellow carefully.

*You will receive a confirmation message that gives you information on the selected bundle, expiring date and time.

*Open internet application on your pc. E.g. Internet explorer, Firefox EST.

*Select the name of the new connection you created earlier, through the phone software.

*Click connect, and surf the net easily.

ACTIVATING MTN 3G MODEM

*select your desired bundle by selecting bundle plans on the MTN fastlink icon.

*Wait for confirmation message.

*After receiving the message, click on connect.
